PURPOSE AND HISTORY

PURPOSE

  1. To facilitate computer academic and application researches
  2. To promote and facilitate the development of computerization/informlization in domestic industry.
  3. To communicate/link with relevant international/domestic computer and informatics associations and activities.
HISTORY
The CSROC is an academic non-profit organization. It is founded since June 1966. The General Assembly held annually is the top authority of our society. The Directors and Supervisors are elected from all members. The Council comprises all Directors and Supervisors. The President will then be elected from the Council. Additionally, several Task Committees with assigned functionalities are also set up if needed. A Chair-Commissioner is in charge of a Task Committee. The tenures of the Council Directors and Supervisors, the President, and the Committee Commissioners are the same to be three years. The election of next Council should be processed two months prior to next tenure. Current Council is the 22nd tenure.
